The task of planning the potential Great River Road projects within the City of Bemidji was assigned to the Great River Road Citizen Task Force. This Task Force, appointed by the Mayor, consisted of individuals representing a cross-section of the area's residents and community organizations The Task Force worked intensely with the project planning consultants, the Mn/DOT staff, and the City staff, to analyze alternatives and develop plans for amenity site improvements. This report is intended to provide a brief summary of the study process and resulting development proposals.
