Report of the Minnesota Highway Study Commission to the Legislature of the State of Minnesota

In accordance with Chapter 692, Session Laws of 1953, a 28-member highway study commission was appointed by the Legislature. Seven Senators and seven other citizens were appointed by the Committee on Committees of the Senate, and seven Representatives and seven other citizens were appointed by the Speaker of the House.

The resulting report recommended establishing a State Aid for Local Transportation program.
