This study was made at the request of the staff to determine the cost effectiveness of several maintenance activities that consume a considerable portion of the maintenance budget. Three areas were selected for this study as follows:
1. Joint repair in concrete pavement.
2. Two lane roads with narrow driving surface and gravel shoulders.
3. Bituminous Overlays
Each of these 3 sections has a summary and recommendations. The executive summary includes all of the individual summaries and recommendations. The appendix contains other data that may be useful for reference.
