During the week of December 8, 1997, three focus groups were conducted with downtown Minneapolis municipal parking garage users who exit the garages during the peak period.
The objectives of these focus groups were:
• To allow end-user input to the determination of the scope, level, type, and presentation of the traffic information to be displayed via these monitors
• To determine the advantages and disadvantages of the six options currently being considered for screen pairs.
• To obtain a list of suggested enhancements or changes to the parking garage traffic monitors that would be valued by these group participants
