This report is the result of a review of the concrete pavement design procedures currently in use by the Minnesota Department of Transportation. The charge given to the Design Review Task Force was to review Mn/DOT's present process in pavement design, including the AASHTO Standards, along with factors that influence the end product recommendation. This report is a summary of the review which took place. Based on the review and subsequent discussions the Task Force determined which factors in the present pavement design process remained valid, or required modification and if new factors needed to be considered. Included in this report are the conclusions and recommendations of this in depth review.
