Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction was published by Minnesota Department of Highways, effective April 1, 1929.

Specifications for Highway Construction was published by Minnesota Department of Highways, effective July 1, 1947.

Supplement No. 1 to Minnesota Department of Highways Specifications for Highway Construction, July 1, 1947, effective April 15, 1953.

Standard Specifications for Construction, 1983 was published by Minnesota Department of Transportation, effective July 1, 1983.

Standard Specifications for Construction, 1988 was published by Minnesota Department of Transportation, effective October 3, 1988.

Supplemental Specifications to the 1988 Standard Specifications for Construction, January 2, 1991.

These Supplemental Specifications amend the provisions of the Standard Specifications for Construction, 1983 Edition, and shall be construed to be a part thereof superseding any conflicting provisions therein applicable to the work under contract. Also included in these Supplemental Specifications are the correction of errors, omissions, etc. previously issued as Errata Sheets dated 9/14/83 and 11/22/83.

This is a precursor to the Standard Specifications for Highway Construction. It was created in 1918 and approved on April 7, 1920.

This construction manual succeeds the 1918 General Provisions and Road Specifications, and is followed by the 1929 Standard Specifications for Road Construction.
