Design Tool for Controlling Runoff and Sediment from Highway Construction (Technical Summary)

Storm water runoff from construction sites can degrade the quality of waters in streams and lakes. To protect these valuable resources and limit environmental damage, the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency requires that storm water pollution prevention plans be developed for construction activities that disturb areas of 1 or more acres.
